Josh and Doug came to treat my home for termites. On the unpainted wood in my attic, garage, and shed they sprayed it with a chemical that will kill the termites and continue to kill them. On my deck, which was painted, and had a LOT of termites, they used a different procedure, they injected the poison directly into the wood. I was absolutely thrilled that I did not have to have my house tented! Doug and Josh were on time, very professional and friendly. I was gone most of the time they were working to stay away from the fumes, and they texted me when they were wrapping everything up. I would highly recommend both of them!

Follow-up to an original google review in which there were "pros" and "cons" about the fumigation service and a lower rating.

Both the 3rd party company and Doug scheduled time to visit the property and review the concerns that were raised. They spent over an hour explaining the expectations they had of their business/service and correcting the concerns that were raised.

Very good follow-up. I would recommend using their service

I noticed termite activity in my detached garage. I researched exterminators in the San Diego area and solicited referrals from my neighbors. I chose 'Doug's' and a competitor.to inspect my property.

Both companies gave me estimates for fumigation nd spot treatment. The estimates were comparable. I opted for service from 'Doug's'. I was impressed that the owner, Doug Dufur was on-site during every step of the process and also was very diligent about informing and educating me on the process. His office also kept me informed about progress and completion of service.

My only complaint is the fumigation subcontractor was not as thorough with clean up as I would have liked. They also did a little damage to exterior paint. Doug offered to do some follow-up cleaning and touch-up the paint damage, but I felt it was too minor to trouble them.

Overall I was very pleased with the entire experience.

I would say Doug’s Bug Company is very efficient and cost effective. I have termite problem in a wood column under my balcony. I called Doug’s, Josh came in ON TIME in the following morning, and finished the work in less than two hour, highly professional. Josh, from Dougs Pest control, came to my house today to help me protect my house from Subterranean termites. I discussed with him my concerns and needs for my property.
