An outstanding experience. Josh from Doug's Bug Company communicated with us clearly throughout the process, arrived right on time and completed the work earlier than estimated. But even more importantly, he found a way to turn back the swarms of ants who had been invading every room of our house, and we have not seen a single ant inside our house in two months. Great work!

Follow-up to an original google review in which there were "pros" and "cons" about the fumigation service and a lower rating.
Both the 3rd party company and Doug scheduled time to visit the property and review the concerns that were raised. They spent over an hour explaining the expectations they had of their business/service and correcting the concerns that were raised.

I found this company to be extremely professional and effective. Kelly and Victor were both extremely courteous, professional and empathetic. I really appreciate everything Doug's Bug Company has done for me. I would highly recommend them to anyone!
Professional, knowledgeable, and respectful of my 1938 home. Would recommend for any termite services. I hired this team to spot treat a few termite sites in my home and they were also able to treat the interior of my unfinished garage. The technician who performed the work, Josh, was able to answer all of my questions and complete the work on schedule.
I had a great experience with Doug's Bug Company. Doug came out to my residence for a free termite inspection. He was honest with his assessment and did not try to upsell me. He also gave me some recommendations on seasonal pest issues. Based upon my initial interaction, I would highly recommend Doug's Bug Company.
We started getting ants but worse, a major spider problem we have t had in over a decade. Victor came out today, extremely friendly and pricey. When I say he really took his time, I mean it! I honestly haven’t seen another big service spend so much time on a home. Highly recommended!

Both companies gave me estimates for fumigation nd spot treatment. The estimates were comparable. I opted for service from 'Doug's'. I was impressed that the owner, Doug Dufur was on-site during every step of the process and also was very diligent about informing and educating me on the process. His office also kept me informed about progress and completion of service.
My only complaint is the fumigation subcontractor was not as thorough with clean up as I would have liked. They also did a little damage to exterior paint. Doug offered to do some follow-up cleaning and touch-up the paint damage, but I felt it was too minor to trouble them.
Overall I was very pleased with the entire experience.

I would say Doug’s Bug Company is very efficient and cost effective. I have termite problem in a wood column under my balcony. I called Doug’s, Josh came in ON TIME in the following morning, and finished the work in less than two hour, highly professional. One thing makes me quite happy, I pay half the price quoted by other vendor.

Victor was wonderful--extremely knowledgeable, helpful, pleasant, and efficient. He answered all our questions and went above and beyond in the work he did on our property. The receptionist who answered the phone and answered my questions was also very pleasant and helpful. We are extremely happy with Doug's Bugs and recommend them to anyone with a pest problem!
I am so happy I found Doug and his business, Doug's Bugs, a number of years ago. Doug is the real deal, local (Pt. Loma), honest, sincere, and hard-working. Josh, from Dougs Pest control, came to my house today to help me protect my house from Subterranean termites. I discussed with him my concerns and needs for my property. Within 3 hours he had examined my property, discussed his plan of action to address the needs, installed the needed devices, filled them and gave me a tour and explaination as to his selection of locations and what I can expect from his company to maintain the termite barriers for the year. Very professional, articulate and friendly.
